Big food and drink deals in Birmingham this January – some restaurants are cutting prices in half

Christmas and New Year’s are done and gone – but we all still need something to get past the dark days of winter.

So why not skip the washing one more time and head to the meal where someone else will do the cooking for you.

The cost of eating out during the rest of the year is hardly as cheap as it might have been in the early days of the bargain.

So although purse strings may be as tight as a 100m runner’s hamstrings by your next pay day, there’s still value to be found if your birthday or other celebration is coming up soon.

Here are our top tips for where to go—and how much you’ll pay.

Every Tuesday, 660 Weatherspoon Pub will offer a classic 8oz sirloin steak for £6.99 (with a soft drink) and £8.29 (with an alcoholic beverage). Thursday’s Curry Club meal will cost £5.99 (with a soft drink) and £7.29 (with an alcoholic beverage).

An additional 180 Weatherspoon pubs will also be serving a selection of food, which will have slightly higher prices but still offer savings on prices prior to November 10.

After an investment of £2.59 million, Weatherspoon recently reopened the Navigation Inn in Kings Norton as you can see in the video above.
