Glasgow chef Nico Simeon is launching the first restaurant outside the UK under his signature Six from Nico brand.
The new cover in Dublin will be the ninth in the brand’s portfolio. Located at 1 Molesworth Street, the restaurant is set to open next month.
Born in Glasgow to Italian parents, Mr. Simon opened his first restaurant in 2015 through Nico. Nico’s first six opened two years later in Glasgow, offering a revolving clinical center with a new six-course tasting meal. Introduced every six weeks.
Each menu focuses on a different place, memory, or idea, inspired by places like the street. Markets Route 66 to the Middle East or the United States.
Mr Simeon said: “We are very proud to bring our unforgettable experience to Dublin.
“Customers have dined at our restaurants from Edinburgh to London to try out each of our menus since our first Six by Nico opened in Glasgow in 2017. Dublin is a vibrant city. Food and drink Scene, and we look forward to welcoming customers soon.
Nico currently has locations in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Manchester, Liverpool, Belfast, London Fitzroy and London Canary Wharf. The new 3,000-square-foot site in Dublin will house the first Le Pen Cotyledon, a 56-core restaurant with a dedicated bar and outdoor dining tables.
