The epidemiological report released by the health ministry yesterday establishes that the state capital has recorded the highest number of infections with 513 positive cases and 11 deaths. With regard to the number of deaths, the city of Chihuahua also accounts for just over a third of the 33 deaths in the state, with 13 deaths in three days.
Juarez recorded close to 200 infections for the second day in a row, up from 175 on Thursday and 184 yesterday.
Nationally, 25,821 new cases have been reported and the state of Chihuahua ranks ninth in the country with active cases, the health ministry explained.
