Mobile Unit Catering Manager

Passionate about food and happy to be out and about?

This role of Mobile Unit Catering Manager could be just for you.

You will be responsible for serving the students at lunch time at various locations in Solihull.

Administrator – Counter Fraud and Investigation Team

This exciting opportunity is for an administrator to provide clerical and administrative support to the Council’s Counter Fraud and Investigation team.

Currently the demand for the service is increasing.

You will be instrumental in providing effective administrative, clerical and operational professional support.

Responsibilities will include the maintenance of several key systems including case management systems and ensuring that it continues to provide an effective and customer-centric service.

children’s social worker

The council is also looking for several children’s social workers.

“We are an authority that is always looking to improve and innovate,” the ad reads.

“This is an exciting time as we begin work in partnership with an outstanding authority on the Strengthening Families, Child Protection program.

“This will allow us to enhance our offering of supportive and preventive services to families in Solihull and move towards a restorative approach to our practice.”

To the right candidate, the job will pay between £31,346 and £38,890 per annum, with incremental progress, subject to performance.

educational psychologist

This is a highly skilled role for anyone looking for a new challenge in the city.

The Solihull Community Educational Psychology Service (CEPS) was launched in September 2019 and now consists of 12 EPs, two assistant psychologists and two trainees.

“We are looking for reflective psychologists who are committed to working ecologically with children, youth, schools and their families,” the ad says.

“We value diversity in practice and are looking for collaborators who join an already vibrant and creative team.”

You will need an Honors degree in Psychology (or equivalent) recognized by the British Psychological Society, as well as accredited postgraduate training and qualifications in Educational Psychology.

The Council is also interested in receiving applications from those who are going to qualify in September 2022.

The council is after a theater technician to join its existing professional team of full- and part-time staff at the core theater in the city centre.

This will involve working through a six-week production and performance program.
